This year, First Note Music Trust, supported by Handsam Ltd, will be publishing the first ever national collection of poetry and lyrics written by young people from across the UK.
We are asking for submissions on the National Poetry Day theme of 'Refuge'. Our expert panel will select a cross-section of their favourite poems and lyrics which represent the wide range we receive.
Please note this is not a competition and in any case all the submissions not selected for the book will be published for at least one month during the course of the year, starting from 5 October 2023, when the book will be published to celebrate National Poetry Day.
