Young People's Book of Poetry & Lyrics
On 5th October 2023, to celebrate National Poetry Day, First Note Music Trust, supported by Handsam Ltd, will be publishing the first ever national collection of poetry and lyrics written by young people from across the UK.

This year we are asking for submissions on the National Poetry Day theme of 'Refuge'. You can read our resources here for inspiration and submit your poetry or lyrics (maximum 500 words) here.
Please note that this is not a competition; the work selected for publication in our 2023 anthology will be representative of all submissions across different age groups and locations and what the poetry or lyrics say about you, not be an indication of 'quality'.
